With Aquarix 4 you are able to create a neat data collection of every aquarium you own.
Aquarix is an easy to use to use software for managing aquarium data. It collects all critical data of your tanks, fish, plants, measurements, creates statistics, diaries, data tables and many other useful information. It helps you keep track of maintenance tasks for your tanks and reminds you when lights have to be changed due to expired lifetime. Its many features enable you to keep your animals as healthy as possible, for example by leading you to the cause of diseases, showing you when to change water and enabling you to see what trend the water measurements follow.

Every tank managed by Aquarix 4 contains sections for:

• Aquarium data like size, volume, minimum and maximum water values and schedule settings as well as unlimited photos of the tank to see how it evolved in time.
• Filters, pumps, heaters, lights and other electrical equipment. Change and care intervals for every single appliance can be added, as well as unique schedule chaining.
• Data of fish, plants and inverts, along with as many photos as you like for every species. Species data can be imported from the included databases and imported via special import files in case a friend entered a new species.
• Data of stock items, multiple stock records per species to distinguish groups is quite unique in Aquariumsoftware. Stock items can be copied, moved to other tanks (of course with complete documentation, where the go, from where they came), imported and exported. You may also move single specimens from a stock list.
• Events for cleaning and care. The user can define unlimited event templates with many options. With these events you can track EVERYTHING in the tanks. Aquarix itself creates events in case of death, selling, moving, adding or removing items to document these actions. You can even see where fish went to or where they came from.
• Measurement data. Up to 99 different measurements are possible per entry, no limit for entries. Aquarix calculates a graphical statistic from this data and shows also the events in the same timeline as an icon (before you ask: icons can be added..) to show events and water values in relation (again: A unique feature)
• Income and expenses. A complete system with accounts (yes, you can edit and add accounts) lets you track what a tank costs. Of course aquarix calculates the water and power usage by itself: Analysis tools show you these costs along with the income and expenses for a single or for all tanks, even in specific time periods or usage of every single appliance in the tank. As I said, this software is unique, you will not find this feature somewhere else.
  

  Aquarix 4 uses this data, which is entered quite easy, to calculate:

• Care schedules for all appliances and water changes. The schedule manager can also be used to add your own schedules, also for specific tanks. Aquarix calculates schedules for waterchange, filtercleaning, pump maintenance and light-changes automatically if wanted. You can change intervals for every single appliance.
• The age of animals: Aquarix calculates the current age, which is unique and very interesting to see.
• Measurement statistics, it shows you all values in a timeline, zooming included. All events are shown in the same timeline, showing you all data graphically. Look for the screenshots below. CO2-Chart is calculated from pH and KH values.
• Cost analysis showing the water usage and the power consumption of a single tank or for all tanks.
• A data table showing all data of the tank in table form. This also allows to export all data to excel, word, html, pdf etc.
• Nice looking print-reports with tank data, stock lists, species data or events. Even a diary printing function is included. Printing as PDF-File is also possible.

  Besides of this Aquarix 4 offers:

• Easy usage, all editing is done by 3 buttons: Add, Edit and Delete. Every dialog has a help button.
• No limits, as many tanks as you want with as many data as you like.
• Fish-, plant- and invertebrae-databases with data of often held species (freshwater) and photos. Adding or editing records is easy.
• 1240 photos of fish, plants, inverts and turtles (freshwater) for use in the tanks (we do not have a database record for every photo)
• Calculation tools for CO2, hardness, water mixing temperatures and tank volume
• Backup wizard which saves all settings in a single zip file, restore functions are included.
• Complete english online help and PDF-manual
• Support for imperial or metric units.
